A cockapoo to be exact.

Just goes to show how easy it is to be fooled. If someone says it’s a cat, some will see just that.

A mysterious animal that TV viewers feared was a wild 'big cat' has turned out to...

Bearing in mind Greyman suggest there are a couple of hundred big cats about in a well populated area of the country you'd have thought with it being breeding season they'd be an upsurge in road casualties.  Likewise one would expect that in a couple of months they'll be lots of youngsters knocked over just like last year..........

How many road casualties were there last year Greyman? For comparison to this year, it would be a good gauge to estimate population levels. Especially if totals were to be taken over a number of years.

For example with an expected road kill mortality of 15% as might be expected going by other populations around the world then 15 road kills would suggest a population of 100 individuals and 30 lead to an estimate of 200 etc, its a somewhat blunt tool but better than nothing. Of course no road kills would suggest a population of 0 especially if it continued as 0 for a few years.

And of course the population spread could be tracked, strange as it seems we can learn as more from dead animals than live one in many aspects.

So Greyman how many verified road kills so far this year and how do the numbers compare to previous years?

He did mate same shit different day ?

He has got himself all excited and thinks he has a point scoring argument by quoting American road casualty’s in mountain lions which he read somewhere, sadly he never read the other articles about the fact the 6/8 lane freeways have no bridges or underpasses to allow wildlife to cross and since they put this wildlife corridor over one it has almost stopped the road casualty,s but as I said before some people only see what they are told to and try to shout down anything they don’t understand point proven above ??

We don't have wildlife bridges.... and many of the road casualties happen on smaller roads so although wildlife bridges can reduce casualties they don't exclude them. Plus of cause we have casualties on train lines as we can see with leopards in India.

Eighty-three leopard deaths in train and road accidents were recorded in 2019, which is the highest in a decade, according to data collated by Delhi-based Wildlife

so a picture of a bridge is not an adequate answer to how many road deaths we have had in the UK this year.

The answer to your question is simple to answer mate...

Zero big cat road casualties in the uk..

Reason being there's no big cat's to knock down..yes maybe the odd released 1 from a private collection now and again.but zero breeding population in the uk..

Just over 9 million walkers/ramblers in the uk.and not 1 single big cat cub has been found...reason being..they ain't there to be found...

Game keepers..farmers..millions and millions of people working and out in the countryside every single day..yet nothing to be found..
