Great Publicity For Ggfofi Mick The Miller Race

Myself and a few other lads are heading across for the weekend. Looking forward to it.

Always delighted to see fellow sportsmen 'from across the pond'. Pop into the Irish Countrysports and Country Life stand to speak to our editor Paul Pringle for a welcome pack.

Albert

Thanks, a few boys from Scotland meeting us as well.

On our way Thursday night

Glad the ladies could get you sorted out with accommodation - quite a few travelling from the UK and of course from all over Ireland. Don't be put off by the few disgruntled people on this forum. Most Irish terrier, lurcher and whippet owners are most sporting. Meanwhile you can download a free programme to read on the ferry, http://irishgamefair.com/pdf/GF_Programme.pdf

On the ferry and on our way! Good few of us and some other lads from southern England as well, looking forward to it!

Anyone recommend somewhere to go on Saturday night?

would you not invite them back to the nuthouse with yous.

I think the best way to promote my chosen sport is to keep myself to myself, and go about my sport without drawing unwanted attention to myself. Therefore you will never see me in any magazine, never

You lads should come to England and see how much support lurchers and terriers get at shows.....not a squint of what you guys get

ONCE AGAIN a SILLY and totally INACCURATE POST by SKIP. LIKE ALL OF HIS ALLEGATIONS TOTALLY FALSE.

The Scottish Terrier Display team who were doing demos in the two arenas and two of whom judged as one of three judges in each of the Five Nations Terrier & Whippet Championships were invited to the event by the GGF of I team. As such we looked after their accommodation and they were accommodated in a Guest House in Crumlin.

RACE DAY AT FEAGHBRIDGE , COALISLAND , CO TYRONE  SATURDAY  2nd  OCTOBER 21.
As the sweet tones of my Samsung rang out as dawn was breaking, signalling another new day and another great sporting event on the horizon.  Yes it was race day and time to head down the motorway to Feaghbridge Schooling Track , Coalisland for another days racing  and another big part of a sport very close to my heart..
Although the weather was terrible right up to race day, the gods were good to us and stopped the rain while the racing took place.  Cars and Trailers arrived in abundance with their loyal Canine friends in tow, all crooning the dog chorus, and full of winning spirit.
Very soon it was booking in time, and our much awaited race day was on its way.

And Finally, may I take this opportunity to thank Sean Burke and Shane Mc Killion for a great days racing, along with your booking in team Kirsty and Billy Harpur,    who made a very valuable contribution to the success of the racing plan on the day. Great team work by all individuals.
And Finally, Finally, the best is always left to last. What can I say that will gather the skills, fuelled spirit and determination together of these two young men. Sean Burke and Shane Mc Killion along with  your brilliant band of helpers, you have pulled together another great sporting event with super efficiency.
