Both young pups , Plummer is 8/9 months...the Russell 5 months...both keen as mustard... hopefully do abit when the time comes

nice white dog DC what happened to the choc dogs you kept, have you seen the light, and moved over to the white dogs. You cant beet a good white un. Had to give mine away as i had to go for a long holiday if you get what i mean. I am picking up a 15 month old dog and 13 month old bitch as well as my old bitch at the weekend they have a bit of bull and pat away back. Will try, and get pics up next week.

An early stamp, as I am sure you are already aware, pre - 1930's at least? Not in any of the old books that I have but it would certainly go on my wall!

It's not from a book it's a print from 1931 and worth £20-£30 according to The Stig

A little digging would have it as being by Malcolm Nicholson and a print taken from a book published in 1931 by country life by Croxten Smith with illustration by Malcolm Nicholson. Modern reproductions are pretty common, originals less so, so £30 would be a realistic price and more than I paid.
