Not A Bad Night After All Lol

First off me and the wife were going for a drive out and to see some friends but she felt ill so that was canceled ,so sent Viz a tx saying what time we going shooting got a tx back saying 7ish .

 

We got to the perm and set our zero and off we went rifles were

 

HW100 HC 177

 

DAYSTATE WOLF 22

 

I set about the crows taking out about 20 to 30 but only could retrieve 3 of them

 

(take a look at the pic and you will see why ) as the woods are to bloody thick to get in

 

only got the 3 as they fell into an open field i was shooting from .

 

i then had a wander around and got the rabbit at zero range (30yrds)

 

BUT BEFORE I STARTED TO SHOOT THE CROWS I HAD TO CLIMB A FENCE TO GET TO THE FIELD,,, WELL,,,AS I JUMPED OFF THE FENCE ,,,,I LANDED WRONG AND FELL TO THE GROUND TWISTING AS I FELL TO SAVE THE RIFLE

 

IT FECKING HURT I CAN TELL YOU

 

Much to Viz,s amusement

 

any way when i got back to the tank there was a rabbit laying there as Viz had gone off on his own after i fell,

 

after a bite to eat and a drink we went off again together at first then we split as we normally do on this wander i got a phone call off my son

 

DAD MY LASS IS IN LABOR,,,YOU NEED TO TAKE US TO HOSPITAL

 

ME,,,IM OUT SHOOTING IN THE MIDDLE OF NO WHERE

 

DAD YOU NEED TO TAKE US THERE IS NO ONE ELSE

 

ME,,,GET A TAXI OR AN AMBULANCE

 

DAD JUST COME HOME

 

ME PHONE YOUR MAM

 

In the end we had to leave and iv just dropped them at the hospital along with his mam lol

 

ended up with viz having got two and me one and a shit load of crows

 

and viz getting a few crows to

 

JUST SITTING WAITING FOR SUSIE JANE SHOWING HER FACE NOW LOL

 

SHE WILL BE NO,15 IN THE GRAND KIDS LOL

 

So all in all not a bad night after all

wife has picked up a bit to lol

 

This wood is thick ,,thick with them lads

 

its like trying to walk through a wood made out of Velcro you get about 6 feet into it and your stuck fast ,and yes its got the best sitty tree in it lol

 

the trouble is when you hit them they bfall into the brambles and you cant retrieve them .
