Well, Thats Me Done For The Season

Recommended Posts

I forgot to latch the pen a few days ago and lost all 3 of my ferrets.

Since having to have my old jill put down a few weeks ago the only decent worker I'd got was my hob and of course he's the only one I haven't found, the other 2 were still in our garden despite the pen being unlatched for 24 hours or so. I've been hoping against hope a neighbour would find him but it looks like thats not going to happen so if anyone round me is having any litters this year I'll be after a preferably white hob and jill.

Cheers for that mate, I'm sure there will be plenty around here in a few months.

I'm pissed off because the young hob I lost was a real goodun, and I'd had him vasectomised last year, and the 2 jills I got back are a waste of space for rabbiting.

Bit harsh that Micky. I think he knows that and he's kicking himself. Every body makes a mistake some times.

Cheers Arry

They live in a 9 foot by 6 foot by 6 foot high open air pen with a turfed floor that they can dig tunnels in and get more exercise than 90 per cent of ferrets, and are fed flesh daily so I don't think they have a bad life.

The only thing it will teach me is to check the latch.
