Why go back to a Greyhound when there's racy Bull crosses out there doing the job????

. I know what your saying but

1. do you know of a good bull grey bitch that's racey 100% silent and the owner is also wanting to use a dog like this?

2. What is wrong with using a greyhound bitch? There fiery, fast and will chase and kill most things that move,

I'm trying to produce pups that are agile and have good speed but with the aggression and temperament of the dog, I know it's a lot to ask for but it's worth a shot

definitely the right choice maate don't be swayed. As you say the dogs is anchor dog...by breed to a greyhound your almost guarantee to get fast dogs. Breeding to a bitch with bull in could infuse too much bull into pup and not getting what u want.
I think so too, I think if I was to use a bull grey bitch even a racey one the pups wouldn't be what I'm trying to achieve he had enough bull in him on his own don't need to add extra bull in the bitch

You aren't adding more Bull in if the dog has plenty of Greyhound blood in it. Get a fast Bull cross that's doing the business. Not going to be easy finding a bloke willing to breed his dog though I'm guessing.

Your alright with hancock then he doesnt sell working dogs

I don't trust two types of men   1. A man in a wheel chair with dirty feet 2. A man that makes a living from selling 'working' dogs

Sounds pretty simple to me, he has enough bull in the line at this point so crossing with a bull cross is not what he's after he wants more grey so is looking for a greyhound.           From the

It doesn't take s rocket scientist to figure out that by breeding a bull greyhound to another bull greyhound is adding more bull into the pups... I know what your saying why not use a bitch that's already doing the job, buy anyone I know that's ever used a greyhound bitch to a good bull grey dog the pups have turned out good so it's a risk I'm going to take

Obviously you aren't a rocket scientist then ha. Breeding with a dog that has more greyhound blood is watering the bull down in the dogs.

But your still adding bull? Yes I'd be watering it down but not as much as I'd like too

That's the thing they will still be quick enough for the task in hand. You're not after an out and out hare dog are ya? You can get first crosses that have the speed to be able to live with bigger gear. Have a good think about it.

Like I said I know what your saying but it's not as easy as that I think by adding a greyhound bitch it will add fire and speed not that he needs fire, but I'm hoping I can take the pup out when it's older and slip on things that are usually a waste of time slipping him on, I know the pup dog or bitch wouldn't do the damage to certain things like he can but I think by adding the greyhound the pups variety of game will be much wider

The only thing easier is that you will likely get your hands on a greyhound much easier than you would a fast bull cross that's doing the business.

I just can't see your logic though, what is the dog again?

From the look of the dog the pups should be strong enough from a bull perspective but will have the speed increase he's after and should produce a relatively predictable and level litter..
