I bought a hound that doesn't speak she hunts like a demon but won't open when she's on how can I get her to speak she is 7 months old is it to late?

Why the f..k do I bother on here I've had terriers lurchers mainly just bought a beagle and want some advice an get twats like black buck commenting shit if you ain't got any helpful information don't comment and all the beagles I've seen hunting before were all baying at 7 months old and I ain't owned her from pup so was just wondering that's all sorry for my questions if I annoyed you wise men

At 7months a lot of people won't even take them out because they can start to babble, I.e bark on any old scent at all and if not corrected then it's a habit that can become very regular. The voice will come with age and if all the beagles you've seen going have been running a line and giving tongue at 7months they were very exceptional pups, and if possible could you find out if any could be purchased because the penny doesn't usually drop with any I've bred, reared or seen until after 16 months or so.

Ive owned some foxhounds with booming voices but non started before a year to a year and a half. Like always those that started with others picked it up quicker than those started alone.

She'll speak eventually lad, she's hunting already then you've no worries. Just keep hunting her but don't burn her out young or let her get bitten too young. She'll just open up one day your out and that'll be it the more she sees quarry up close the better
