Theres a lot of different types of orbital fractures from a complete blow out where the pressure causes the orbital wall to literally blow out to what they used to call a tripod fracture where the orbital nerve is affected which Ogogos looks like. When I got kicked in the face my eye ballooned and shut instantly, the coppers told me straight away when I was outside that my eye socket looks broke. The fighter has to disclose any medical conditions prior to the fight and like I said if it was a broken eye socket it would have had to have been pretty recent. Does Brindle think it just slipped his mind? No way in hell would Anthony and his team risk such a little fight carrying an injury that serious. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

It looks that way mate ...I don't see that haye had anything to loose calling out AJ as I think aj's team would have ducked it anyway. ..style wise I think haye could cause a lot of problems for AJ i dont think its a fight they would risk if they didn't have to . So you believe that anyone that fractures the same bone as you will have the exact same symptoms as you?...now im not a fracture expert like you boys...but my wife is a nurse that used to work in A&E and she informs me that the eye socket just like any other bone in the human body can have varying degrees of fracture...its common to have small hairline type fractures that have little or no symptoms...so totally possible for the lad to of gone into the fight injured then had it made worse during the fight... what your talking about is a bad break...your comparing an injury by a pro sportsman wearing a headgaurd sparring to being kicked in the head outside Mcdonalds...but dont take my word for it ask any Doctor ect they will tell you the same...or maybe read the statement put in the press by Ogogo's eye specialist...think about it use your brains...dont be so desperate to be the little know it all 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites

I'll have some of what you're smoking please..... In all fairness i do think theres times when these Olympians tend to skip through domestic level i think theres a ton of fighters coming up through the ranks who if given the opportunity would more than likely pull some of these Olympians apart on the domestic scene......with an Olympic medal comes instant exposure/money and the tough local lads are swerved.....as you say the ams and pros are miles apart.
