The dogs all looked very similar in type strong and game looking,i guess they were the old type of wheaten terriers,I liked the policeman looking and enjoying the event.How dogs and times have changed.

JMHO but I would think that that type of dog actually improved after the 20s. Naturally I'm talking about strongdogs, not Kerry Blues, they went down hill.

to be honest the video was staged, and definitely better left in the 1920's .... the footage was staged as a sell my pups video..and was full of cruelty and baiting... releasing vermin/pests in an un natural environment to be hunted down by men with egos and dogs in a staged setting... when the animals did connect they were more interested in being in view of the camera than separating the animals making sure they are ok ... lol 1920!

Wrong Stop End, the video is a Kennel Club made film on how it was back then.

Back then there wasn't enough folk with television etc. to spread trials etc. to the common man.

It's a modern thing where idiots put up photos on web sites and public media of lurchers drawing etc.
