Oldballistic 3 Posted July 15, 2016 Report Share Posted July 15, 2016 Hi I am old ballistic now in my twilight years. I was brought up in the countryside (Morayshire Scotland) in the 50's. I am now retired in my twilight years and fondly remember my young days brought up in the country. As a schoolboy I used to help out the local farmers with the harvesting corn barley etc, potatoes, carrots picking, and rid the farms of pests etc. The farmer used to give me his 410 and say go to such and such a field and get rid of rabbits, pigeons etc. My mother used to say to me 'Go get tomorrows dinner'. I used to be an 'expert' with the catapult but I would be lucky to hit a 'barn door' with it now. As I am now retired I have taken a new interest in shooting ( I still have my shotgun certificate continuous from 1968) and my trusty Weihrauch HW80 air rifle.
