I hope you find a good home. I wouldnt bother putting her on here though, for some reason this site allows advertisers to be abused by small minded people who think they have a right to judge others.

To answer some questions I'm being asked saves you having to message and ask me:   I have no idea what the bitch is like round stock especially sheep as I just don't get them round here. I would pla

You don't have to keep explaining yourself ,it sounds an honest advert to me,a lot of self appointed experts on here .

As I said, no offence was intended, and you hadn't made your experience clear in your first post. Could you not kennel her? That way she wouldn't be stuck in a crate when you're not there. Some dogs, particularly those with very high drive, are just not suited to live as a relaxed family member, as they are too intense and short-fused to hang out with other dogs. In and around season time, things often get more tense between bitches, and some just aren't cut out to be 'pack' animals.

In the future I could possibly look at kennelling her, at the minute I am in the process of moving house and the house I am moving to has no fence at all and certainly not one I would feel safe with having a dog kennelled behind. What I am worried about though is that we will have howling and yapping with the other dogs around not in kennels. I may be over thinking things and imagining the worst case scenario.

I think you are right though skycat, she is not a submissive bitch to other dogs and as far as she's concerned she's boss of the dogs and she is basically daring them to challenge her over things. At the minute it really is just warnings and challenges but if the German shepherd gets fed up of that things could get nasty quickly. At the minute as soon as she pins the terrier it's release straight away and never bites but I am well aware that this could change. It's a real shame because she is not a nasty bitch in anyway shape or form and out and about or in general she's brilliant and I do trust her when I am around and in distance, at the minute!! She's always going to have fire and I wouldn't want that any other way but it is now affecting the other dogs play and behaviour because they don't want to piss her off or be challenged so just won't play with the toy or will leave the spot they are laying in for her. I wish I could just tell them to tell her to piss off it's their spot and they are staying there lol. she knows I'm boss but I need her to realise she can't bully other dogs if she doesn't get her own way! Like you say I think she may just be a bitch that likes one on one and will tolerate other dogs for a while but not happily live peacefully with them?

Surely this bitch should go somewhere like Lurcherlink. Granted, she may not get a working home, but she will be assessed by people who understand dogs, and, more importantly, lurchers. And she will get to socialise properly, under supervision. Kennelling three dogs together is never a good idea, and it is perfectly possible that this bitch, who is becoming an adult, and possibly on her way to having a season (her first?) is throwing her weight around with the other dogs.

One of the main dangers in taking on adult, or sub-adult, dogs, is that the way the animal behaves in one home may not be how it behaves in another. The first three weeks after taking a new dog home, it is walking on eggshells, learning the lie of the land, and the rules, or lack of. Once the dog has understood its surroundings and fellow canines it begins to find its place in the 'pack', or family. Unfortunately, there is a tendency to molly-coddle such dogs, giving them a false sense of their own standing ... or you could be completely correct in thinking that this bitch is just destined not to be the quiet, sit in the corner type. Your are right in not just letting her go to anyone, but, given your own inexperience, would you be qualified to assess the skills of a potential buyer? That is why I suggest Lurcherlink.

No offence intended at all, but sometimes it is best to hand a dog over to those who are truly qualified to judge and rehome.

why would you pass a terrier to lurcher link?

Fly good luck in rehoming her, as for shock collars I would give it a miss. High driven dogs can get confused and lash out when shocked, have seen dogs attack others and have also seen a dog attach himself. Personally I don't think a shock collar would help your case

Thanks all, she's still here at the minute and typically she's been behaving perfectly since the day I put the add on! I'm sure these dogs have a sixth sense and do know what we are thinking!

15 month old Bull X Wheaton grey bitch for sale

Ive had this bitch for a couple of months now and was sorted out with her after wanting to get back into the dog game after a while off due to personal circumstances. I have done nothing with her other than daytime walking and rabbits we have come across on these walks but I do know for fact she has seen other things prior to me having her although I have seen her on videos I have not seen her go so I WILL NOT guarantee that this bitch is going to be a world beater.

Having said that she's a good strong bitch and has guts, she is also young and is not ruined so I have no reason to believe she will not turn out well.

Now the reason she has to go, I bought her in already having my older terrier bitch and my partners gsd. For the first month everything has been fine but jealousy has now set in and this bitch owns everything or wants to own it! She has not done any more than warning and back off bites to the other dogs and is in no way a nasty bitch but I have tried everything to stop this behaviour (probably a failure on my part!) I do not have the means to separate my dogs in kennels and due to work I need to trust my dogs when I am not there. I can't do this with her and I can no longer carry on with the separation. She needs to go before this escalates and I end up with ruined or injured dogs.

She is excellent with children and people and I have had no problem with other dogs on and off lead other than at home over objects or attention! She was kennelled prior to me having her but now lives in the house and crate.

I can txt or email pics so if you want any other information please pm me for mobile number and we will have a chat. I am putting £100 on the bitch and please do not be offended if I will not sell her to you. I need to know the home is right for this dog.

Thanks
