gnasher16 29,621
These so called mental games have only become important since the age of the internet....a fight is still just a fight some things dont change and away from these public rituals the only mental battles are the deep personal battles within a fighters own mind.....fighters dont reach this level by being spooked easily or worrying about what their opponent is doing you prepare yourself and know that the other guy is doing the same.....the rest is just the bullshit that go,s with the age we are living in. What about the petty things like wrapping hands before a opponents team member checks leaving a challenger in the ring for 20 minutes before you appear wearing platforms to appear taller or making the ring like a bouncey castle all things wvladamir has done Surely these things have always existed to make your opponent very uncomfortable Believe it or not mate life did exist before Tyson Fury .....of course things like that happened before there just wasnt tv cameras following fighters around for weeks and into the dressing rooms minutes before a fight ......thats not mind games its just trying to get an edge you cant get away with just putting a horse shoe in the glove anymore you know
