Tasty Meal In A Rush!

Recommended Posts

Takes little time.

Smoky streaky chopped add to hot wok.

Add small cut rabbit pieces.

Add a chopped onion.

Lots of black pepper.

After browning the meat add wine to take the heat away.

Add chopped peppers.

Make a rue and add to mix.

Adjust thickness with milk.

Add frozen veg and on low heat heat through.

Easy peasy real tasty :-)

My favourite quick meals are..

Chop up left over boiled potatoes (I always cook to many and keep em store in fridge, good for lots of quick meals) throw in frying pan with chopped chorizo and a bit of onion, a few chopped mushrooms aswell. Serve on crusty bread and butter.

Everytime I work in Lytham I buy a bag of cooked shrimps, then just have em on bread and butter with crispy lettuce from the garden. With a glass of ice cold chablis, I eat em dinner, tea and supper till they run out!

Kettle pot noodle= quick, but your recipe sure sounds tasty

Not sure pot noodle ever appeared on the menu - as a student nurse we had very limited money but the electric was free, so cooking was fine - baked potato, stews, slow cook soups and so on. For quick meals - chopped up veg with a stock cube makes a great soup. Adding some meat is good, but not needed. Pasta with a cheese ( and bacon, optional ) sauce, omelette with various fillings - all very quick.
