chrismdd 787 Posted April 10, 2016 Report Share Posted April 10, 2016 Very nice eel and interesting way that it was caught. Personally I would also of returned it but they do taste nice. Used to catch loads on the River Parrett but now they have almost vanished (elver fishing? parasite? or global warming upsetting the Gulf Stream? Who knows?). Last time I saw one on the Parrett was when it was being eaten by an otter, thankfully they now have the Signal Crayfish to consume. Quote Link to post
