What a punch that was...

What a punch., what a fight. There's a lot more entertainment in the lighter divisions. The pace, accuracy, head and foot movement is much better in the lighter divisions.

We are too focused on the heavyweights.  But too often all we get served up are  slow defensive boring fights.

i still think he has the attributes to be a world champion, so nice to see him back in the ring ?

Trevor Bryan was crap. Dubois v Whyte would be good.

The heavies have been pretty shit for 20 years mate, the klitchko brothers were hardly exciting were they! Lol

Welter weight - middle weight has always been the exciting fights with real superstars imo...but I do miss a lot of the lower weight fights and there are some brilliant boxers...that Inaue (spelling) is something else!

Haglar, Duran, Curry, Mugabe, Minter, Honeyghan, Benn , Watson, Eubanks,

Leonard in no particular order (except Marvellous Marvin)  middle/welterweight great times for boxing!

Who are the stand out fighters now?

Cheers, D.

Crawford, Spence, Charlo, GGG, Canelo... young Benn looks exciting.

Some decent boxers about at welter-super middle..  but the Hagley, Duran, Hearns, Leonard era must be the best... closely followed by Benn, Eubank, Watson..

Not what was expected ??

To be honest, G, it was exactly what I expected.

Smith Jr's only chance of winning was to outbox him, which he couldn't, and there was no way that he could've beaten him by getting close and fighting him.
