My kids have been keen to set there own creel and catch a lobster. So this week we made up a creel , rope and buoy and have baited it in a likely spot. So far it's only been full of crab but they are loving it , and after two days have got the Lab swimming out and retrieving the rope so they can haul it in.

Used to know an old guy in sunderland who used to winkle them out from under rocks when the tide went down,he used a small metal poker believe it or not.

Yeah, I know a man that does it, they call it cleeking where I live. The lads here use a bit of broom handle with a piece of heavy wire on it.
