ben1191 9 Posted April 6, 2016 Report Share Posted April 6, 2016 got an 8 week old pup,due her first injection monday coming,i have a 14 year old pat,is it ok to walk the old dog and bring him back in,worried it could pass on something but im guessing it could be the same with him just going in the garden? LaraCroft 863 Posted April 7, 2016 Report Share Posted April 7, 2016 Your older dog can still bring infections back to the house - but if you are sensible about where you walk him, and stick to quiet spots, then the chances of taking anything home to the pup is very low. Same goes with taking the pup out and about - avoid areas with other dogs until the jabs have had a few weeks to get the immune system up and running Quote Link to post Share on other sites
