Popular Post Dan McDonough 560
Here's my first litter of 3/4 Lurchers. There is a little bit of APBT in there on the sire's side but it's hardly noticeable except for that he's a little wider in the rear of the jaw and he trees well. I know it's not really something that will be new looking to you all but I'm pretty excited about them. The Stag x Border Collie female that went into this cross just might be one of the very smartest dogs I've been around. The sire would be a great Stag if that's all he was but he's a good dog on track, smashes the bush and trees like a champ. He's been a natural to the neck from the first coyote he grabbed. I've done my part in putting in quality parents and hopefully the pups will be something to remember. Anyhow, I wish I could send half of the litter over there for the men that were interested in trying something with a little USA breeding on the sighthound side. If anyone is on here that has money shooting out of their tail wants to take them over and dish them out, I'll provide the dogs. Edited April 5, 2016 by Dan McDonough 20 Quote Link to post

Dan McDonough 560
I'll have to get the mother's picture off of my phone. Quote Link to post
Dan McDonough 560
I doubt there will be more than one or two in the litter that will make 28 inches tall. I think most will be around 26 inches and there is one female brindle that is quite small. I'm going out on a limb and saying she won't get more than 23 inches. Of course, it's possible there could be a 30+ inch dog to come out of this but I would be surprised. Edited April 6, 2016 by Dan McDonough 1 Quote Link to post
Dan McDonough 560
Here's one of the mother but it's from last year. This actually looks like the middle of the 2014-2015 winter, so at least a year. Edited April 6, 2016 by Dan McDonough 4 Quote Link to post
unlacedgecko 1,466
out of interest, what is the cost of importing one of these pups likely to be? £800-£1200 off the top of my head. Apparently the most effective way is to transfer to Canada, then Germany, then import from there. Unless your travelling with the animal it could be logistically difficult but I'm sure it could be done if there was a will. I have a courier who could handle the Germany - UK part. I also know people who could assist with the rest. PM me if SERIOUSLY interested, but please don't waste my time with pie in the sky. At least make contact with he breeder first. I would require some cash deposits before I make any arrangements. 3 Quote Link to post
