First Cross Kelpie Dog

As stated, does anyone know of anyone with a first cross kelpie greyhound dog doing the job that'd use it for stud? Free pup given..... I know sleight has one but would rather have one doing the job

I've heard good things about them Phil, very similar to collie greys but not as sensitive, meant to be quite hard dogs to

Yes and no gaz, obviously there will be some difference in the litter but being 3/4 grey that should level them all out a bit, they should be fast enough for most jobs though some will be faster and others will have more stamina

most 3/4 bred dogs should be suitable for all types of hunting but I would still prefer the 1st x as a mooching companion

no. You will have better luck with an even litter in my opinion.

theyve been tried, probably get the same as you would get from a first cross collie litter, with a little less litter wastage..but will always suit some folk

Thanks for the answer. I always liked the 3/4 grey 1/4 collie types. Be interesting to see how the 1/4 kelpies turn out.
