well i'll shoot em with a 223 and say sorry to em afterwards,lol......remember Gem I was in yer shed,and thats a nice thought...............you being 1 hr 11 minutes from Sligo town,dont think the piggys will be doing much in town though, :tongue2:

well that shed is now a full blown workshop and will soon be strewn with motorbike parts, my big shed is the flash one though with the kennel runs in it

give me half a chance and id half the pig,lol.....Gem always knew you were a wealthy woman,2 sheds?????????I AM IMPRESSED LOL...

technically theres 5 although 2 were once stables and 1 an old cowhouse and then the haybarn and the turf shed... you know well i aint talking about piddly timber garden sheds

God forbid !!......that's terrible news !! Lol

The Irish Independent says "hunters are to blame as they may be deliberately releasing them"........Jesus Christ, who would ever consider doing such a thing?!!! Lol

That's the conclusion they have come up with over here. Hunters releasing them for more hunting opportunities. A couple states have banned hunting them in an effort to stop this.

 

Interesting remedy! So what happens next? The wild boar just continue to increase in numbers?

 

That's a good question. The first concern seems to be stopping the influx of hogs. Then typically they'll trap them a full sounder at a time. States like Texas are so over run with them now I'm sure they'll be a part of the landscape till kingdom come. Other states like Missouri, or here in Michigan there is still a chance to get on top of it. The real rub comes when they tell states with a strong hog hunting tradition that they can't hunt them anymore. A lot of hounds will be up for sale I'll bet.

Here's one I managed to get about 16 years ago. Never saw another one.
