Cheers. Some about last week on South Coast and a few in and around Surrey, this is a week earlier than my first last year.

an old rhyme, the cuckoo comes in april  it sings its song in may it sings another one in june and then it fly's away.

seen the first swallow 8th april ,5 on the 11 april (scot borders ) goose sat in the pond wood and there's a few ducklings on the tweed  

herons have got young too

Seen my first Swift or Martin today, bit too far for my eyes ?

I’ll be driving and walking the Northumberland moors next week to see if there’s any about and paying a visit to see if me old mate from last few year is back yet ?
