I am in Kent England mate, they live in reed beds they are also known as bearded reedling or reedling. They feed on insects in the summer then change to seeds in the winter.

I have about half a dozen young robins in the garden, can only get a photo of one at a time as they seem to hate each other, their right under my feet when up the garden no fear of humans yet. A load of young Blue Tits and young Black Birds. Seems a lot of late broods this year.

not sure of the exact distance, probably 20 feet or so..its quite a heavy crop

Another great image matie, not seen many up here, but I have rung them before with the BTO....Lovely birds, and very photogenic

Thank you, i have been fishing a remote spot and was very happy to discover these  birds there.
