Careful what you wish for, I live in central Scotland and come in contact with a broad section of people, regardless of wee Kranky and snp's claims I don't know anyone who would now vote for independe

Just noticed on MSN that we are NET contributors to the tune of £24,000,000 per day.

That is £8,760,000,000 per year.

So, just what do we get for our money?

Straight cucumbers, bent bananas and loads of immigrants.

We all need to remember and explain to family friends and workmates this isnt about conservative labour lib dems or snp, this is about the future of our country, a country fit for our children, grandchildren and their children to grow up in, the eu cant and wont give us that, an OUT vote in the coming referendum is the only hope we have

Apart from the unelected European Commission, the scandalously wasteful Common Agricultural Policy, expenses fiddles on a truly enormous scale, laws dictated to us by foreign politicians and fellow members who turn a blind eye to illegal immigration ?

Wonder why the Snp are so desperate for independence from the Uk

Yet want to be part of Europe

Easy solution to that one, pull out of the EU. Let Scotland have her independence and take our place in the EU, and as a token of our esteem Scotland can have our share of migrants and refugees. Wonder what the fat cats in Brussels would make of that offer dropped on their table? A straight swap sirloin for haggis and a dramatic cash adjustment :hmm: Naaa, We are going nowhere and neither are Scotland.

The vote will be rigged to stay in, arrggghhh

The vote won't have to be rigged, because "Leave" won't get much of a look-in in mainstream media. We are up against the Labour party, the Lib Dems, SNP, Plaid Cymru, the Greens, TUC, almost every trade union, many business leaders and even the Pope !

Surprisingly, given that Cameron has had a clear run so far, the vote is pretty evenly split at the moment.

I think theat "Leave" need to move the debate away from this "Emergency Brake" nonsense and get it back to one of sovereignty and self-determination. The EU is an anti-democratic, dysfunctional bureaucracy, which shows no real prospect of meaningful reform. The only place where British decisions should be made is in the British Parliament, where British MPs are voted for by the British electorate !

The referendum isn't about some Polish plumber sending his Child Benefit home. It is about the future of our country - the country our children and grandchildren will grow up in. A country making its own decisions or a Brussels lapdog ?

This is the biggest vote that most of us will ever have, and for us older ones the only say we will ever get......use it wisely, and do everything you can to get us out !
