I tried my terriers in plastic barrels once upon a time. Horrible things. Condensation ran down the insides and pooled under the bedding, despite the front being open. I would put plastic on a par wit

Here's some what I got nocked up of a old Carpinter insulated floors walls and lid was minus 10 the other day and they was lovely and warm when you lift the lid

I think them yank igloo things look stupid,,,and I seen a pic of your back garden,,,lovely country garden ,,they wouldn't look right.....   Get a good solid tongue and grove shed,,,with a good quali

I remember years ago seeing a kennel made from pvc window frames with the board stuff off doors in it instead of glass that looked ok. You can put vents etc in too.

I tried barrels and ended up with loads of condensation so I put a ply floor and front on and drilled a load of drain holes in the bottom.

Ive got a similar design, but they are built in block built runs..

In winter dogs lay inside & in summer they lay on top..

Yer, this type is good and warm, i've always had kennels with the option of the dogs being able to sprawl out in the sun on top. ;)

I spent a bit on mine after moving house..

I got a brickie to build some nice pens..

Galvanised pen doors & used them bitumen sheets for roofing.

Prior to that ive had few decent wooden set ups..

If you are not proud,, you can use an IBC with the top cut off.

I couldn't find an exact picture but you get the idea.

You can pick one up for about £30. Worth paying a bit more for a clean one though.

Only thing I find with something like that is where it's so tall is the dogs body heat won't warm it up enough.
