a lad i used to dig with had a yorkie x teckel x fox terrier x ?. Dug to it a fair bit! a great sounder, but often doubled up with his fox terriers, came in handy when mine were having a weekend or 2 of.

Seen a westie have a look in Ireland, dont think it progressed, but first look it seemed to have an idea of what was expected.

I reckon most terriers if entered right will make decent ratters, if you fancy a WHW why not give one a go

I'd worry about most yorkies just being too delicate these days but if you could find the right litter I don't see why one of them couldn't do what you're looking for too, my aunt has a pretty robust (and fecking evil ) yorkie that she got from a guy that has been breeding the same line for 20 odd years, just pets but none of that teacup shite there his dogs were all a good size.

As your expectations are not that high for a terrier to have some fun with why don't you do a poor tyke a favour and get one from a dog shelter and give it a new lease of life.

I'm sure you'd easily find what you're looking for and at the end of the day if you rang 100 puppy peddlers and told them all what you were looking for they'd all give you the same answer. YES.
