I need new ones too, just been looking through the archive threads but they are all dated.

Anyone give any recommendations?

I picked up some sealand boots in a sale at Winnfields the other week for £40, neoprene lined with the buckle vent thingy on the side to let some air in, b*****d to get off but good grip, warm and so far dry...

Dunlop purofort , bit slippery in the wet but otherwise not a bad boot

f**k that, the old muckboots were deadly, ones I have now arent brill either.

Cheers, D.

Them big Puroforts have the best grip i've seen on any boot!

Mine are fantastic, they should last for years.

Get some muckboot muckmasters mate, warm, easy to get on and off, cheap enough.

I don't think them muckboots at what they used to be, I use to swear by them and have had a few pairs that lasted untill the soles wore down but the last pair I had fell apart inside around the heel and did not last a month. My brother in laws have done exactly the same as well.

I use rydale wellies full zip down the sides got them start of last season been spot on warm and reasonably priced at £60

+1 on them wellies mine has lasted 3 year need new ones now though my fault for not fastening zip most of the time and the rubber inside zip has come away ,soles are fine still not like them muck boots , six month if you're lucky and the are deadly in the mud
