Stove In Shed

i've got a wood burner i want to put in one of my sheds, any suggestions how to run the chimney through the wall without setting fire to the shed?!

thanks everyone.

 

so having now researched the information you have provided, here is my plan

 

insulated fireboard surface beneath stove and on wall directly behind it

twein wall insulated flue where it passes through the roof

dektite/ flashing kit to seal round chimney on top of roof

 

does this sound about right?

 

how high do i need to have the top of the chimney above the roof just in case of sparks? should i fit a spark trap?

You should only need about 18" but it will depend on how sheltered your shed is for the smoke clearing. If you have little or no air flow or protected in by a high hedge for example, the exhausting smoke can be pushed back down (outside) and recirculated back into your shed. Then you will need a higher flue

The rest sounds about right.

 

You can pick up stainless lagged twin wall from the scrapyard.
