Dog Aggresion

Anyone got any good tips to help dog aggression. My patt I'd fine with my lurcher but any other dog lurcher,terrier it just won't take to. But not barking n snapping it really does it with intent and has locked up with one of my other terriers when it was 4n half month old. It's 6 month now and it's been the same since a pup but it's great with kids, food, in the house, and my lurcher just other dogs. I was going muzzle it when going out with others until it's his turn. Anyone else had the same or got any solutions I've tried loads. Any help appreciated. It's not a problem as I av learnt what he's like and I just keep my wits about me. Just would like him calmer

try to have him around as many dogs as possible , the more he not by other dogs the worse he get . a very good dog trainer who train raf+ army dogs+ police dogs who I used know, had some great results with any type of dog. He calls it (flooding) where the aggresse dog put by as many nice dogs as possible . and it does work. ok some type of dogs pits etc you might not stop it, but most other breeds you will. And hitting no good as it seems to make them worse, just yank on the lead with firm no, just keep the muzzle on and do it every day. some dogs are just nuts and nothing will stop only 12g , but at least you can say you tried

Get him a rat or 2 and he might vent some of the aggression ☺ hopefully he will but some terriers can and will always want to fight other dogs. Not much good as I've seen alot of that type to be lacking when it comes to proper work. They are a liability really and normally more hassle than they are worth.

He has had a couple of rats didn't faze him getting bit or anything nothing seems to bother him yet. Think it's just gonna have wait see how he works n make my mind up if he's worth it or not.

Yh it's weird as its every other dog as I said my lurcher he's fine with just another dog even my other kennel dog he would have if give him the chance n she's a bitch. I'm gonna try the nice dog with muzzle approach see what he does. He ain't the barking pulling yapping try get off the lead to them but you can tell give him chance n he won't think twice about grabbing and wanting try kill it. Any dog any size just hope can calm him

Got a pat the same, kept fight with my pat x jack. got so bad i have to put her in a kennel/run in the garage. She was ok till she got to about 8 month old, they used to play. but now she just goes in for the kill. Used to latch on to other one and shake hell out of her. The only way i could get them apart was to throw them in the pond, and wait till they let go.

Its probably her/him trying to state her dominance but just fool hardy. Enough knocking backs should settle him/her hopefully in time otherwise you have just one of them ones know one wants.

Thinking about it I don't think I've seen a dog that's been aggressive actually stop being aggressive when given graft . I've seen dogs calm down a little bit at home but that's not your problem is it . I've seen aggressive dog jack when worked and the one dog that was aggressive to other dogs that did work proper well he was still a c**t around other dogs . Just watch he's agree soon don't turn to humans especially children.

I know of one dog this did work on it was not intentional a dog agressive terrier got his come upance from a well built normally docile bull greyhound

I think that can send them two ways from that experiance make them want to fight everything out of fear or be terrified of other dogs.

As said by Shovel try and socialise him as much as possible it will take time but if you have a muzzle on to begin with it should prevent any mishaps. Have a friend who got a dog that was the same, he's a different dog now but just wouldn't put the house on him and leave him for long unsupervised. Atb
