Digging Jacket

Was out from early morn in the pisses of rain here today,had my old trusty hunter jacket on by Jack pyke,dry as a bone and warm only down side was i had no leggings on so jeans were soaked,cant win em all,just to add seen a fox leave a big marchy place today that was in excessible to me with just wellies on,he had to swin to get on the land as the springers were in pursuit of him,probably lying in wait for some sort of wildfoul.

I bought mine in the ballistic ireland shop in wexford its great stuff!! This is there site http://www.ballistech.ie/ or there on facebook to there facebook page is called (ballistech ltd) you can buy it over the phone from the shop and they will deliver it!!

Have used the following and kept dry inside and out.

 

All are cheap compared to the branded names and can be got locally.

Jacket - the Co-Op store for about 70 euro.

Fleece - Discount outdoor rail about 50 euro

Base layer - 15 euro at Lidl or Aldi

 

It needs the 3 working together to keep really dry.

The base layer is the smart part, it wicks the sweat away from the body into the fleece.

 

The jacket is made from RipStop material and can take working in cover without tearing.

Baseball cap inside the hood is best for driving rain.
