Want To Hunt In England/uk

I will be studying abroad in the UK at St.Mary's University in Twickenham, just outside of London. I will be studying this coming Spring semester from late January to late May. Growing up in the the Midwestern United States, hunting has been a big part of my life and I have always dreamed of taking animals all over the world.
Being a student, I do not have a large budget that would afford me the opportunity to go on luxurious hunts likes the ones you see on TV. Deer is my preferred form of hunting but any opportunity to go out hunting for game of any kind would be greatly appreciated. I have nearly a decade of hunting experience with rifles and shotguns. Even the opportunity to go along with another hunter would be an experience I would cherish for a lifetime. If you have any opportunities available or information of other hunting opportunities this would be of great interest to me.
I know this may be a strange request but I am really interested in going out hunting. I would be more than willing to help someone out with whatever tasks they may need done in return for an outdoor experience. If someone was gracious enough to take me hunting or let me hunt with them I would be more than happy to give you the entire animal if you so chose, or, I could donate the meat to a local charity or soup kitchen (if that is an acceptable custom in the UK).

I have read your post so many times and it nearly brings me to tears. I would bet that many more people on this Forum think alike and find it difficult to answer your request. At best guess it ain't going to happen. Twickenham and deer don't exactly go together. Not sure how you are gonna get round this one pal.

yiu never no mate twickenham is full of people with more money than sense and a lot of which are very into there fieldsports!

I work around there, Richmond and most parts of west London and regarly speak to deer shooting enthusiasts.

Not saying it will be easier to get the shooting than if you were out inthe sticks but get in with the right crowd wherever your studying and you'll be being chauffeurd around in daddy's range rover looking for a deer before you no it im sure.

Exactly mate it's only 15 minutes up the road from me and its a completely different world to me also!

It will be a different experience im sure to a proper countryman stalking deer but you never no he mite get lucky is all im saying.

A Range Rover is just like a gun room on wheels, rifles and cigars in the front, champagne and lobsters in the back, and a red faced tweed clad fat f****r in the hot seat

Jok- dont worry at all. This is not the only forum I have posted on. I have actually gotten multiple offers from people on other forums saying they will take me out hunting. I am happy to say that I believe my chance of going hunting this Spring are relatively good.
