This is a recent article written by Alan Tyer .   Alan is the Chairman of the AWL , some may of read a more streamlined version in the Countrymans Weekly.         The Association of Lurcher C

I was involved in the start with the other club but through work commitments and my wife needing 5 operations this year I just didn't have time to give to another project so I pulled out fairly early

Hunting is not a blood sport it's a sport that's in your blood ! Happy hunting

Giro had a big giro ?

Cheers, D.

I exited the club late 2016/2017

I was never a signatory or treasurer.

I am not sure what happened to any funds,I'd not even now the figure or balance. It may of caused some issues with the bank, when Jayne passed away or its been passed over to charity, I don't know tbh.

I'd be guessing but I don't even think it would of been a few hundred quid.

I know during the time I helped, no monies were spent from subscriptions and the websites were paid for by donations from members.

Sir Jonny Scott covered his own expenses when he attended the Hunting Council.

Maybe the members were sent some correspondence about the club, but not being an active member, I'd not know that either.

If folk have unanswered questions, I'm not sure who could address them.

I introduced Johnny Scott to the AWL as a President, I split up with Jayne june 2016 and never heard anymore from her, although I got told John Bennet was made chairman, I met JB at a show in Nottingham and asked him how it was going he said he had resigned when he found out Johnny Scott was being paid £!,500 for expenses to ,attend these meetings Id like to see proof of this .

The opportunity was available to dis band AWL and give the Proposed new group an opportunity but some of the old group thought they could do a better job which failed to do anything for dog lads full stop. The Country Side Alliance continues to put the boot in to dog lads at every opportunity some things never change. Seasons Greetings to all and a Happy and prosperous New Year
