Terrier For Dogging In?

I've been there and had the heart ache to prove it! If you decide to try a terrier then stick a locator collar on the dog. Its not nice when your pup decides to self enter without a collar!

1.How would a terrier be better suited temperament wise to stay away from the old dog than a cocker spaniel?

 

2 how would it be easier to shut a terrier away from the old than a cocker?...

As i said in my first post the job fell in my lap and im by no means a proffesional, your right its part time. Feel silly for asking now but ive always been told the only stupid question is one not asked. cheers anyway guys, great help

Plenty of genuine men out there too.... with the knowledge and the time to put a professional stant on it which is a shame they were not given a chance, just goes to show, its never what you know...its who you know!

Cocker spaniel,not much bigger if at all bigger than your average terrier and a lot less aggresive towards other dogs and bred for the job you actually need a dog for.
