back out again ,farmer was pleased to see us ,first spot was the big long gutter ,full of bracken ,marsh and gorze.dogs wer finding it hard to hunt due to weather .Was very clammy .Anyway they found c

back out today after a call out ,foxes causing havoc on the farms up on the fells ,The weather has been serious up here ,persistant rain for days .So decided to try sum of the earths near the pheasant

Yea mate the vandeen x went few weeks back .nothing but a bad head.wouldn't listen to you if it was 2ft away.tried every avenue with him.but he was.by for us.

shame that nice looking dog,looked like he was working well on the bunnys on that little clip you put up before,my pal had a griffon a few years back was a outstanding bitch to work she was lost on a hunt never seen again same thing very head strong.

ive a gwp the same, selective hearing ! frustrating at times but prey drive cant fault it ,

Day out ferreting with couple of mates.took Brian along because he marks to group .and is spot on round nets etc.only ended up with 7 because thevrain and wind came thick n fast.

Sounds like a handy all rounder Brian. :thumbs:

he is defently 1 of them dogs you don't get many of in a lifetime.seems to take to most things like a duck to water.

Out today .blowing a Gale and misty as hell.but we had sorted things out with farmers .first patch off wood n gorse produced nothing .2nd wood had few roe in .but no foxes.we tried a few earths and a big rock spot .Fox was in rock pile.but was sumwhere very safe.dogs could.nt shift him.but they weren't for trying.pic following .
