sounds a very handy dog for someone. I would take some cash as a deposit of sorts- if they've got the dog a year on and check in with you reguarly, return the cash, but people can come across very plausible and genuine and then disappear into the night.

im a keeper up in aberdeenshire, I'd give him a go if you were closer. plus with the grouse season on i've got no time to travel. good luck tho, out of interest do you have a photo. im interested to see what the cross looks like?
