It was still there today.  Must've  been going some as it  took out a scaffold-pole crash barrier and the side of a brick bridge before hitting the water. Its only a single track road at that point too.

Surprised no one has had the wheels away by now  but l suppose the battery is quite safe😁

Update; According to reports nobody was hurt but the driver failed a drug test.

Probably a carp angler trying to park next to his swim . He should've set his bivvy up before imbibing.

Have the cat away off it 😂

A few types of "swims" where we're fortunate enough to fish..   The Exeter Canal before first light (Tench blowing everywhere on this morning).. The tidal Exe     First light at Hopes

I'm guessing I was about 14 when this was taken. That would make it 43 years ago. Eek ! Its possible I had hooked the bottom rather than a fish:)   This one was taken at the same spot yesterday a

Moved further down south recently the canal is a 5min walk so after years of barrowing around a ton of carp gear around packed lakes started fishing light. Drop shotting for perch and pre baiting like

Last bait session before the season ends . Gord Burton’s about 100 yard further up and just had one on a lively and I’ve only got dead’s and some lures

Had one on this jerkbait I made myself. Gordy came down and asked if I sold them . Genuinely nice fella , he spent over an hour talking to us , telling us spots on here and other places
