Lad just as we were packing up got 100lb carp 1 red tail cat caught from guy across but didn't see how big its a cracking place to fish can't wait for round 2 a carp came out of water just in front of me was huge never seen 1 as big unfortunately not on my rod.i was impressed with the pacu never seen 1 before fecker to hold

It's all included mate 2 rods alarms rod pod get 2 meals a day they'll fetch you drinks to your swim or there's a cool box with water and few cans of pop in they give you vouchers in with your price to buy bait with its a excellent place I should have really got a villa there I will next time.the lad who runs it is a sound lad and all staff are brilliant they'll do everything they can to get you on the fish.

Prebaiting a spot for the last couple of weeks, fish it over Xmas. Gave a slack in the Shannon a go for an hour the other day after all the rain. But blanked.

ive always wondered why pike fishing is set up so different to sea fishing for stuff like conger and huss

the way the bait itself is presented mate. we would use the same bait for hussing or eeling but have it completely different - just a pic i stole off google but this is how we use them

Ah yes, is that a pennell tig? I think plenty of lads use singles. I suppose if trebles work why change for ledgered deads anyways.

just always intrigued me why trebles in a pennel rather than singles, same as you guys dont use bait elastic either
