Well in bream can be a pain when they move in on a spot but glad sticking it out paid of for you water looks coloured with a bit of pull never caught a barbel on a river I would think they can go a bit

Aye they deffo give a good account of themselves, kill themselves if the water is low an not lot oxygen in it, got to make sure you rest em, j leave em in net for a good while before j even life em out water, that seems to help, an I don’t mess about with pics, quick pic on mat an away they found a again, give it a try, the Trent sn the rivers down this end are far better than ones up my way ☹️😂

We have them in ribble round here I have a mate that fishes for them all over been a couple of times last time I went a otter appeared in my swim I do same with carp let them rest in the net I keep meaning to give them ago

That's a good fish from any river💯worth working through the slimy bin lids😁Well in there Don👌...invest in one of the them phone camera tripods....you get some quality shots of you holding your fish ,if your on your Tod 👍

 

 

I've blanked the last 6 sessions 🤨😂I tell myself...that's why it's called fishing and not catching 🤣👍
