Slowly... Not a lot doing yesterday. We stuck closer to the coast when I think we should've gone further out. We only had a few hours as well so by the time I figured I'd made a bad call it was too late to head out.

 

Nice to be out regardless though

I'm out tonight for them mate, need a bit of luck, never caught one on purpose before, been into it for a few week's now, tonight is my second session for them.

Good luck! Eel fishing is awesome, they are a really interesting creature. I found large raw king prawns to be the best bait in the margins at the bottom of the shelf. I have been using the Sidley rig to keep resistance to a minimum as they seem to drop the bait if they feel resistance. I hope you get one!

I'm not a million miles from there now . Nothing doing yet and a 4oz gripper lead is just about holding bottom . Hopefully things will pick up as it starts going dark

This water was only a walk away carr mill dam spent some time on here over the years.

I haven't fished it, but the Swale at Richmond, North Yorkshire.

 

I'll fish it one day..
