Hi guys, today I noticed a big lump on my lurcher blus face, it's on the left side of his bottom jaw line it's quite big and hard, he is still eating, drinking and being his normal self it doesn't seem to hurt him if you touch or put pressure on it, has anyone got any idea what it could be?

At least you took it to the vets and done the right thing for the dog well done

abscess or it might be a wasp sting either way better safe than sorry

What do you think the vet will do then ......

im not a expert on dog illnesses but a friend had a abcess on his neck one . Huge thing . He waited and waited before going to the doctor and the gave him a right bollocking saying if it burst it could have been curtains for him . Would assume the same for dogs if it is a abscess . Dont want that gunky stuff floating around inside him if it does rupture and burst
