Small Lurcher

Recommended Posts

Hi all , I had to have my bitch pts a while back

My mrs has 2 x minature schnauzers so when I get another lurcher it has to be small as small as possible

What is your advise only for a day dog rabbits rats etc

Was thinking a small 3/4 whippet x 1/4 beddy

What are your thoughts as small as possible with enough pace to catch a flushed rabbit

Thanks

42 mate. I just don't want a dog that is capable of destroying the terriers mate

sighthounds are normally pretty calm around the house, but any working dog would destroy a mini schnauzer if it came to it.

a bigger dog would be less likely to kick off imo

If you want a small bunny dog id source a Beddy/Whippet or a Whippet/Grey that throws to the Whippet heritage, even a Whippet if you can knit it a warm jacket.

Lol @morton I've a litter just we bunny bashers 1/2whippet 1/4 greyhound 1/4 beddy ideal we rabbit dogs

Id have one of them and reap the rewards, that would possibly be my idyll bunny bashing, ferreting and pot filling hound.Im a little reluctant to let go of the bigger bruisers, yet i know at some time i want another honest jukel that will do what that breeding does, until then?.
