Colouring Block Paving ?

Recommended Posts

Ive been painting the outside walls of the house with some of that black masonry Paint...some of the splashes that have been quickly rubbed off with a wet cloth have sort of stained the blocks the colour i would almost like... I'm imagining if I wattered some of it down and painted it on with a roller etc etc it could look interesting... I've rubbed at it with a wire brush and its soaked right into the brick..which by the way have been down well over 5 years.

I'm really tempted to have a go..but if it wears off with vehicle traffic..it would probably look really bad..

I might go and do a test sample somewhere

Yes you can paint them any colour you fancy with a quality masonry paint just remember to make it last long use a good polyurethane sealant for concrete after its all dry
