francolin 449 Posted May 18, 2015 Author Report Share Posted May 18, 2015 top pic just thrown 5 clear eggs,pic no2 5 young,no 3 laid 5 ,3 hatched,2 doin ok at the mo,bottom pic 5 young,these are doin well ,the young are always full crop on inspection,the border type hen in top pic was a spare hen that I have,she is building again at mo,goin to try for a nest of mules with her in the small outdoor pen,atb. francolin 449 Posted May 20, 2015 Author Report Share Posted May 20, 2015 cheers lads,dont know what happened with the pair that have 2 young,there was3 until they featherd up,then on inspection one morning 1 had died for no apparent reason,looked same size/weight,i checked birds and pans for mite,no sign thankfully,and all the rest are doing fine,i also have some more sitting not on these pics and there eggs are full,so the birds are in decent condition,atb. 2 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
