Mud  lots a the peds have lines to coursing blood, moonlakes  etc,lots a the working bloods have coursing blood behind them some close than others some added racing lines to quicken them up fa coneys.non ped ta ped allways been giving results fa donkeys yrs on preban long ears and coneys smal l species of game and some  like teeth. For me bill, dogs with a fair bit of nimrodel and nevedith in em were great ?

Have to say mind, the last 20 ish years, I certainly haven't kept my eye on the ball, and there are are probably pure whippets from different lines doing really well. But even the good lines today, will have come from those good lines of years ago

Yes had them with Mary Lowe nimrodell lines,very game line I found them  like mr reds ra n all night on coneys great little jukels. Had the moon lakes but xes them to make a more compact jukel with terrier blood ,atb bill

Yep, and I have to say, taking everything into consideration, these days I'd have to have another 1st cross whip/grey bred down from some of those same lines. 

I don't want a fox dog, or a coursing dog, or a dog that I can train to do 15 different things with.

Whip/greys suit me to a T ?

Don't forget eAsy keep let's but thys can still teach em what thy likes with the right welp ,but I know what yas driving at, and a f1 ped whippet grey a fine hound  speed aplenty reasonable stamina do I need ta say any more and a plus some f1 ones no bigger than the modern working whippet lol.atb bill
