I have a Powaglide buggy which I bought a while ago as I wanted to convert it. Has great potential. It has a rotating chassis which handles well off road.

 

It's quiet, so no scaring off the quarry, powerful and twin batteries so goes for ages.

I do not have the original charger, I use my own 12v charger on each battery.

Where would you get a toy lander body from to put on it ? I'd be interested for my lad if the bodies are easy to get

A chap was selling a complete one for £200 (body and wheels) but it was a bit far to go for me. They always come up though as unfinished projects.

 

If you are good with a jigsaw you can buy the plans for £40 (If I remember correctly)from toylander and just cut and join.

 

People tend to use mobility scooters, but they have no off road capability, they just tip over, this has the ability to go off road.

 

Also this already has off road wheels and is made to carry the weight of adult around a golf course.

 

Forgot to put that I am selling as we are trying to purchase a horse / pony around 15hh must be good with children riding it.

This was the one I was going to buy as measurements seemed very good. He never actually sold it and would not take less than £200.

I emailed the other chap with the body but it has been sold. - sorry.

 

They come up loads on ebay but the mechanics are normally pretty rubbish. You really need a good base to start with....yes a twin batteries golf buggy that goes just about anywhere.
