If you get hold of a good un they make fantastic dogs

I had an excellent dog. I took him all over the UK as well as to the continent. He hunted all manner of quarry and never let me down. Unfortunately he died. So I am looking for another bred the same way.

I put mine over my bullxgh another good one and the pups are keen as hell and have good pace what I was looking for

I am glad they worked out well for you. That would be too big for me though. I love little dogs.

the two I kept are sizes apart one is 22" and the dog 25"

22" would be lovely. Mine was bred by a lad called Curtis from Merthyr Tydfil. I've put a post in the general talk section asking for him to get in touch.

In Yorkshire pit villages a Whippet x GH has always been called a Grew, very popular with miners as some could pick up Hare's as well as Rabbit.

I used to do the same Gafer, day,s, nights & afters, but as you say, every miner did back then, no mobiles, no helicopters, happy day's, lol.

That seems to be thing about this breed there not scared to get stuck in my we bitch is due in season soon and if it does happen will let you know

I prefer anything but the bloody dog I've got!

Good luck in your search, my old dog is bred Beddy/whipp x grey, so similar to what you're after and I can say he never let me down!

Cheers, matt
