The Irish bitch that done 4/5 was unbeleivable, one of the best bitches I've seen run in a few years, garfields dog a good one to real good round cover

a dog called juke, juke = smokey x Holly, Holly was after Jim Youngs Red dog who was after the beast dog
Red to Polly, I think this will be a very good cross

Bulldozer wont produce as much waste simply cos the owner handles the dogs and his affairs far too well, I think some lads could turn up grand in hand n bitch on leash and simply be turned away cos they a crew who know there onions they wont line it unless it will work or has higher chance of

other fella come over sea on a wing and prayer I know good few sets of lads who have took him out bought bred stuff using his dog,they have taken him too loads of land and he simply slips the dog and he does the business, he kills hares other dogs cant he consistent which is almost holy grail , like or dislike the man his dog turned out well and is one of the top running dogs in last few years that's fact not fiction, so therefore he should be judged solely on that his hare killing ability

the other side the breeding litters etc I don't know ins and outs heard bits and bobs but when you own a dog like that you end up with a lot of 'mates' likesay invites here there and everywhere you gnn meet some lads ya simply cant say no to and also you can end up obliged cos they sporting days out, whatever the fella has made money out of it, but like I said before so have many others most end up crabbed at some point most simply don't care money speaks and then theres the old pearl nobody forces anyone to line or buy anything , you make your own choice at end of day then oit becomes your fault if it goes wrong, but fairplay it human nature to blame others, if he spent the money on h9s family dogs etc fair play he never robbed it or took it by force

none of us knows what would happen if all of a sudden we had a top notch dog and money being offered left right and centre, until we do we cant really say can we , its each to their own

doesnt matter whats in the mix when a good dog is on open stud and not selected bitches his name is quickly ruined when there offspring whether it be bad handling or a sub standard bitch turn out shite its always the sires fault i know some go for the coin which is there choice but if i had a dog or bitch which was worth breeding from which has only happened once i would forget the wedge and try and produce something has good if not better

Nipper and Foxy were something else, Iver Lee started that line over 40 + yrs back! English sheepdogs x Northfolk lurchers, Russell Rowley added the saluki too it, their by far the best line of coursing dogs (just my opinion)still going as strong as ever......but not going get good ins all the time whatever way ya breed them, takes a lot of care and bring them on the proper way, plus a lot of luck lol....what's Nero like, what's his lines Artic

Bulldozer = Forley finalist 1st year forley champion 2nd year 3rd year fur cup champion and permo cup champion finalist, which was cancelled,unbeaten 25 matches,missed 1 or 2 hares in 25 matches, how many hares has he killed over the course of these matches, not counting the hares he's killed when just out for fun,he'll be put in comps again next season and no doubt add too his long list of achievements, this is a proven dog of the highest standard, don't ye think
Lucas = 1 match, ran 3, killed 2 = Draw

Lucas has won nothing, not as much as a single match, if I'm wrong please show me, this is not crabbing it's just facts.

Brookie of here bred Nero out of his Cruise line bitch Asha, sure they where second litter off Asha first being to Jihad Khan dog, the sire was of Iranian descent and the line hd not been used over here before or too any any uk line in past, so I took a punt, he has been a very good dog for me personally Ive learned a lot about the breed off him and likely let him down more times than he has let me down in all honesty. Ive worked him as a lurcher doing a bit of everything with him, he has been coursed single handed from slips , lamped, worked with ferrets bolting rabbits, worked with falcons flusing , flushing to hawks, mooching, bushing with various other dogs , also lamped him in fourth year I worked him.

He aint killed everything he been put too, but he always given the required effort and improved at tasks he bin put too, he has never shown me up and maybe impressed few people along the way, Ive had some great days with him and never wanted to part with him or give up with him, eventually he levelled out and I knew where I stood with him,

he aint no master piece but what are we comparing him too? Bully Tilly, Lucas, Belle? well unfortunately he cant be compared to them simply because they two different breeds of dogs, compared too his own he likely not the best either to be fair, theres many with pures wont show their hands in the field for whatever reasons , I will however as do a few others and weve ran em together and the results of that im happy to breed from him for my next lot of pures, had someone else produced better ie dogs that out performed my own week in week out I would of bought from them no worries, but as most you know not many run these types certainly not as many as stud them out or breed form them, so I went my own way, but ifitgoes wrong the lads who bought em or got gifted them know too fetch em back, I cant say fairer than that, Im honest in what Im giving them, cause their no point in lying about it, they also have their part to play in rearing and entering them right, hopefully they get summat that they enjoy as much as ive had and continue to have in my pups none have come back, well one did but that's back with its original owner and one lad who had two from litter sold one to a lad who bought one from last litter they all seen happy enough so far so that's summat, the lad from Scotland who used nero to his pure bitch also happy with his lot so again that's good

he been to two quality saluki lurchers/coursing bitches but its up to their owners weather they want their bitches names on here? feed bck Ive hd is been good but they very young and not been to work yet so could all go tits up in long run, that down too them and lads who got pups time will tell, but I never advertised the dog at stud they came too me to use him , maybe this time bext year I wont be able to show my face on here lol its all a gamble aint it

last thing cause thread not about saluki :laugh: even if nero really hits the notes to the coursing bitches he gone too I wont put him to open stud ever cause you simply end up lining rubbish and all the crabbing starts I've enjoyed the dog too much for that, plus the rescue kennels don't need me contributing 1000 more unwanted dogs :thumbs:

both times passed on hares
