My Lad mad this knife yesterday. Going to list it over on the sales page but thought i would give you guys first dibs.

 

He wants £55 for it. Series 2 Landy spring blade, Oak scales. He made a few with this steel and it is a relay good blade steel. 80grit finish on the blade but that is the effect he was looking for. If you prefer a mirror finish you could easily work through the grits yourself with wet & dry. 7inch overall 3 3/4 inch blade full ground taper.

My lad got his first commission for a knife.

 

Spec is is to be

 

5160 5inch blade.

 

Mircarta handle

 

Kydex sheath

One for the kids :thumbs:

Made and bent using old heavy galv dairy pipe and the odd part from an old exercise machine Spring assisted because of the weight of the pipe.

Stainless bucket fabbed from 1.2mm sheet.

Installed in a gravel pit rather than sand. So cats don't shit in it.

Kids love it.
