No need for it at all mate vets just rang me back all sewn up did a bit more damage than 1st thought but will be able run so I am a very happy man

He'll bounce back quicker than you think bud as already been said there's no rush now next season way off yet all best

That's a fecker, just a pup, being a pup is the best and worst of it, it's still growing/developing so will adapt and heal well but a shame as well that it will likely impact on a whole life. Fingers

Out of interest gafer and I have no clue did the vet join them back up or do they heal back up them selves or remain detached ?

Quite interested as my pup has a suspected tendon strain on his hock that's had him lead bound for 3 months and 2 weeks not that I am counting

iit was severed in 2 places she sewed one part together but couldn't find the other part and she said if she did it would burst the stitches under tension so the toe is a none starter points to the sky his other one goes to the side as he split it in between the toes so has a wider spread than the others
