For a dog, especially that age, to kill hares on tight land like that this time of the year, is great going i think. Its not just speed that is needed, its the ability to keep that hare in the field and under pressure to make a mistake and to strike when the time is right, he will only get better i reckon, great breeding their, the good strain of irish terrier in them, goes a long way too.
