BGD 6,385 Posted January 22, 2015 Report Share Posted January 22, 2015 If I've got no plans to breed from a bitch I get her fixed, can't be dealing with the mess and the risk of pyometra as they get older. I give them until 3 to see if they're worth thinking about taking a litter from in the future and if not it's straight to the vets to be spayed. Never seen the need to get a male fixed though...
